The UCLA gymnastics team previewed the 2026 season at Meet the Bruins following a runner-up NCAA finish and a sweep of Big Ten regular-season and conference titles. Bar routines have shown notable improvement with increased depth and internal competition driving growth. Coach Janelle McDonald emphasized improving consistency, sharper execution, and cleaner landings before the January season opener. Seniors are focused on adding routines and events while pushing their development in their final year. Sophomore Macy McGowan is rehabbing a floor injury and rebuilding strength weekly. Jordan Chiles performed her Prince-themed floor routine for the final time ahead of a new competition routine.
