CNN's Abby Phillip Puts Trump Fan on the Spot Straight-Up Do You Think Trump' Won Georgia?
"JOE BORELLI: If there's nothing to hide, why do it? In a YouGov poll that came out last year, 30 percent of Americans, only 30 percent of Americans believe that there is little to no fraud in our elections, right? But why?"
"BORELLI: And when you have counties, like when you have counties like Fulton County saying, no federal government under legal authority, you still can't see 700 ballots, then, I'm sorry, it just seeds discontent and distrust. PHILLIP: But let me just ask you straight-up, do you think that Trump is right, that he, in fact, won Fulton County and won the State of Georgia? BORELLI: I don't think so. But what's the harm in seeing it?"
Abby Phillip confronted Joe Borelli about the FBI raid on the Fulton County Election Hub and pressed him on former President Trump's claims of victory in Fulton County and the State of Georgia. Borelli cited a YouGov poll showing significant public skepticism about election integrity and argued that restricted access to ballots — referencing roughly 700 ballots in Fulton County — breeds distrust. Phillip repeatedly labeled Trump's assertions false and asked Borelli directly whether he believed Trump had won Georgia; Borelli said he did not but questioned the harm in reviewing ballots and defended scrutiny of the warrant and legal process.
