Ryan said Crenshaw sent an Instagram message on September 24, 2024, requesting content removal, a public apology, and that Ryan stop talking about him, and Ryan refused. Ryan cited a February video in which Crenshaw said he would 'fucking kill' Tucker Carlson to explain why he viewed the message as threatening. Crenshaw denied the accusations about hiring Steve Aoki, called Ryan's claims 'silly,' and invited Ryan to a live one-on-one SEAL-to-SEAL conversation on X.
