Fox News Media promoted Aishah Hasnie to White House correspondent and announced she will anchor a new solo Saturday show. Hasnie has been with Fox News since 2019 and regularly appears across programs offering insight on the Trump administration's trade deals and the president's feud with California Gov. Gavin Newsom. A dual United States and Pakistan citizen, Hasnie provided harrowing accounts of the Taliban's takeover after U.S. troop withdrawal. Fox president and executive editor Jay Wallace praised her Washington knowledge and anchor potential. Hasnie will assume the correspondent role this week and the show premieres January 10, airing Saturdays 12–2 p.m. ET.
