When we named it, we were in the Oval Office. The president said, 'What are we going to name it?' Jason Smith says, 'Well, sir, we got a few great options.' He goes, 'No, I just think we call it the One Big Beautiful Bill.'
He passed it around to us on a piece of paper in big, bold font, One Big Beautiful. And then he goes, 'Now, can we put an exclamation point?' I said, 'Sir, no, we can't do an exclamation point.'
He's dialed in like no commander in chief has been in recent memory. I don't know that there is a precedent for a president who's so engaged.
He's very unique that way, and the country needs it right now.
