Hot Springs appear across various regions of Ezo and grant permanent increases to maximum health when interacted with. Approaching a Hot Spring and interacting with the pool triggers a sequence in which Atsu bathes and reflects, after which the player receives the health upgrade. Collecting these Hot Springs is important for progression and increases survivability during exploration and combat. Spirit, the energy used to heal and cast abilities, is not increased by Hot Springs; spirit can be improved separately by completing Bamboo Strike challenges.
