"To beat Varmis, you need to mount up on your Vi-O-La cycle, then lock-on while targeting its tail. Your Vi-O-La missiles temporarily slow down the boss, allowing you to catch up. When you're close enough, do a Vi-O-La boost to ram into its tail. You have to do this approximately 10 times to defeat this sand beast. Once the boss is dead, switch to your Morph Ball form and roll straight into its belly. Then, plop down a Psychic Power Bomb to blow it up."

One Mech Part sits near the G.F. Debris at Sol Valley's eastern edge and triggers a boss fight with Varmis upon approach. Players must mount the Vi-O-La cycle, lock on to Varmis's tail, and use Vi-O-La missiles to slow it. Close-range Vi-O-La boosts are required to ram the tail roughly ten times to defeat the sand beast. After Varmis dies, switch to Morph Ball, roll into its belly, and deploy a Psychic Power Bomb to retrieve the Mech Part. Return to Mackenzie at Fury Green to repair the robotic assistant and collect Green Crystals and other rewards for Chrono Tower access.
