After a lengthy, delayed development involving multiple studios, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was announced for PC and consoles in October. The Chinese Room and publisher Paradox initially planned to lock two of six playable vampire clans behind a $30 Premium Edition paywall, prompting significant negative reaction. Following community feedback, the studio reversed the plan and confirmed that all six clans, including Lasombra and Toreador, will be included in the base game. The executive producer acknowledged community feedback in a YouTube trailer description and said two story packs created by The Chinese Room will be included in the Premium Edition.
