Bungie initiated a week of free loot for Destiny 2 players to prepare for The Edge of Fate expansion. Players could claim daily Infinite Nonary Engrams for cosmetics. However, a glitch allowed players to farm them by deleting and recreating characters. Bungie quickly responded by disabling the free Engram for everyone, citing an issue. This decision affected many players who had just started participating. The Destiny 2 team announced on social media that they were investigating a fix while permitting players to still earn a limited number of Nonary Engrams.
