Dark Hearts is a Hunt-type side quest available during Act 3, unlocked after completing the Silk and Soul quest in Act 2. The objective requires destroying 12 Void Masses, though more than 12 exist across Pharloom. Void Masses appear as mish-mashed amalgamations of creatures bound by black goop and are often signaled by corrupted enemies in the same area. Corrupted hostiles display a shadowy hue and new attacks. Void Masses attack with tendrils in melee and fire black ooze from a distance, capable of damaging Hornet. Multiple regions can contain several Void Masses, requiring exploration to complete the task.
