The upcoming Nioh 3 was revealed during the PlayStation State of Play event, marking a significant change for the series as it will not be a PlayStation-exclusive, launching simultaneously on PC and PS5. Set during Japan's Sengoku period, the game features a new protagonist, Tokugawa, alongside the familiar Yokai foes. It introduces an 'open field' concept, allowing for more exploration. Combat will include two styles—Samurai and Ninja, which can be switched dynamically, along with new features like Arts Proficiency and a parry system called Deflect. An alpha demo is currently available for PS5 users.
