CD Projekt Red has posted an update via ( GamesRadar), in which the developer apologized to fans and indicated that the new release date will fall in 2026."
"The Witcher 3 mods have been around on PC for almost as long as the game itself. There will be some limitations about which mods console gamers will be allowed to use, for technical and content reasons. But the vast majority of mods should be available for free, once players get a mod.io account in conjunction with the update. A concert featuring the music of The Witcher 3 began a US tour earlier this summer, and it will continue through October."
CD Projekt Red postponed planned cross-platform mod support for The Witcher 3 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S to 2026 and apologized for the delay.
