"probably a fracture"
"malpractice"
"conduct and comments"
"aggressively pursuing and verbally abusing a game official on the court, failure to leave the court in a timely manner upon her ejection ... inappropriate comments made to fans when exiting the court, and remarks made in a post-game press conference."
Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier is ruled out of Game 4 of the WNBA semifinals with a left ankle injury. Collier suffered the injury with 21.8 seconds remaining in Game 3 after her left leg made contact with Phoenix guard Alyssa Thomas during a steal attempt, causing Collier to land hard on the side of her ankle. Collier limped to the bench, sat with tears, and was assisted off the court. Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said there was "probably a fracture" but the team provided no further details or a recovery timeline. Reeve was ejected after receiving a second technical, criticized the officials as "malpractice," and was suspended one game for her conduct and comments, forcing the Lynx to play Game 4 without their head coach.
