The Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem has reopened after closing following the Hamas attacks on 7 October 2023 and the subsequent Israel–Hamas war. The hotel opened in 2017 directly opposite the West Bank barrier so all rooms face concrete slabs topped with barbed wire described as "the worst view of any hotel in the world." The hotel aims to bring tourism, expose life under the wall, and amplify Palestinian voices through its gallery and works by local artists. Prices range from $70 for shared bunkbeds to $495 for a presidential suite. More than 20 original Banksy works remain on display.
