Megaworld also gifted an additional $51,900 (3 million PHP) in cash. The government awarded $173,000 (10 million PHP) per gold medalist and the House gave $103,700 (6 million PHP). Manila prepared a hero's welcome, and businesses contributed additional gifts including ramen, restaurant meals, and lifetime colonoscopies.
