Russia warns the UK will 'regret it' if 'any object in our airspace' is shot down - London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com
"Any aggression against my country will be met with a decisive response."
"There should be no doubt about this among those in Nato and the EU who... are telling their voters that war with Russia is inevitable."
"If there are attempts to down any flying object, any object... in our airspace, then I think people will very much regret undertaking such an egregious violation of our territorial integrity and sovereignty."
"The Doomsday Clock shows less than one and a half minutes to midnight, symbolising the moment of nuclear apocalypse."
Russia warned the UK and NATO that any shootdown of Russian warplanes in Russian airspace will prompt a decisive response and cause regret for violators. Several NATO members, including Poland, Romania and Estonia, reported airspace violations by Russian jets. The US President ordered NATO to "shoot down" any Russian jets entering alliance sovereign airspace. Berlin was accused of adopting militaristic rhetoric. Belarus reported delivery of the hypersonic Oreshnik ballistic missile with 2,500–3,000 km range, speeds around 7,610 mph, six warheads, nuclear capability and a combined yield of about 900 kilotons. The Doomsday Clock sits under 90 seconds to midnight.
