The Tian An Clubhouse sits on West Tai Lake in Changzhou and originally served the surrounding villa community for more than a decade. Changing resident lifestyles created a need for renewal and adaptation of the facility. HATCH Architects was commissioned to redesign the clubhouse with an architectural language that integrates Oriental philosophy and contemporary comfort. The redesign aims to revive a sense of harmony between the natural lakeside environment and ordered architectural form. The project focuses on balancing tradition and modern living, updating amenities and spatial arrangements while emphasizing connection to nature and an orderly, serene atmosphere.
