The station reopened last December and construction focused on a new entrance adjacent to the old one. A timber span roof now shelters more of the station interior while pavement fitting outside is underway. New train arrival screens have been installed on the platform. The ticket hall is scheduled to open by Christmas. The Northern line between Hampstead and Edgware will close 29–30 November and 13–14 December for further works. Work will continue after opening, with an accessible customer toilet due mid-2026. A cafe is planned inside and residential blocks are proposed pending approval.
