Early in 1992's Wayne's World, a bunch of rockers squeeze into an AMC Pacer with custom flames painted on the side. As they drive past the automarts, car washes and beef stands of downtown Chicago, Bohemian Rhapsody plays on the car stereo. The song's operatic verses are used for laughs (the Let me go line becomes a cry for help from a friend who is partied out and might honk in the backseat)
Thirty musicians and singers recently gathered in the streets of Paris for a flashmob performance of Queen 's iconic song "Bohemian Rhapsody." A video of the flashmob was posted on the YouTube channel of one of the performers, pianist Julien Cohen, on Tuesday (September 9th), and the clip has since gone viral, surpassing over 500,000 views in just one day.
In 2017, while directing Bohemian Rhapsody amid chaotic conditions and repeated absences from set, Singer was fired from the production, which was ultimately completed by filmmaker Dexter Fletcher. Still, Singer's name remained on the project, which went on to gross more than $910 million worldwide and win four Oscars.
