Sexyy Red is proving that 2025 might just be her most defining year yet. From high-profile features to pop-leaning collaborations, the St. Louis rapper has consistently found new ways to keep her name in conversation - and now, she's back with fresh heat. Her latest single, "Is You Coo," adds another standout track to her growing catalog and sets the tone for her highly anticipated performance at Coachella 2026.
The Coachella 2026 lineup had, seemingly, begun leaking in the days before its official announcement, as names such as Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G started being discussed as possible headliners. Though, with both names on the heels of widely successful projects, it was hardly a "crystal ball" suggestion - it just so happened to be correct. Saturday headliner Justin Bieber is still simmering down from a revival that resulted in two consecutive albums - "Swag" and "Swag II," released on July 11 and Sept. 5, respectively - making his presence at the fest pretty much inevitable.
Once upon a time, Coachella used to ring in a new year of festivals and live music by releasing its lineup in January. It arrived in this timeframe with such consistency that those first couple weeks of January were frustratingly slow for the festival's devotees. But those days, apparently, are over. Following up on last year's surprise November lineup drop, Coachella pushed the timeline up two months earlier and revealed its 2026 lineup on Monday, September 15th.
On Monday, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival shared the lineup for next year's extravaganza and Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G and Anyma are slated to headline. The annual festival is scheduled to return to Indio April 10-12 and 17-19. The impressive lineup also includes hitmakers XX, Disclosure, Nine Inch Noize, Ethel Cain, Teddy Swims, Katseye, Foster the People, Devo, Sexyy Red, and Central Cee on Friday, with Carpenter headlining.
