Cooxupé, Brazil's largest coffee cooperative that accounts for approximately 10% of the country's coffee exports, has suspended five farms for labor-rights violations, including conditions analogous to slavery, according to a recent Repórter Brasil investigation. The report follows Brazilian Ministry of Labor inspections earlier this year.
