Oktoberfest has become a way for communities to come together and celebrate in the fall. Neighborhood festivals will be taking place throughout Southern California in the next few weeks. They have German themes, German food and German beer, but a wide variety of attractions. Many take place during the daytime in streets and parks. Most but not all are family affairs. Check the details before you go.

From May 30 to August 29, the beloved Music on the Square series returns every Friday, bringing good tunes, great company, and golden-hour magic.

Walpurgis night, celebrated on April 30th in Sweden, marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring, featuring bonfires and communal festivities.
