Poeltl has spent the last two and a half seasons anchoring the Raptors' defense, gobbling up rebounds, setting hard screens, and giving Toronto something it otherwise lacks: a legitimate interior presence to match opposing centers. Bernd Leno (Fulham): Excellent for Fulham in their 3-2 win at Burnley. I know the result looks like a close game and Fulham will say they deserved to win, but Bernd Leno made five or six good saves at the start of the game that kept them in it. Burnley will feel hard done by. Malo Gusto (Chelsea): I'm not the biggest lover of this fella if I'm being honest. I can't work out why I don't rate him but I just don't.
Spo holds players to standards and challenges them every night. He has the unique ability to take a player who has struggled in the past and build a system to fit what they can do best. Spo has made a living doing this in Miami, and Mitchell is the latest player to see the dividends of trusting (and buying into) the Heat's coaching staff.
When it comes to legends that have played for the Toronto Blue Jays, names such as Dave Stieb, Joe Carter, Carlos Delgado, Roy Halladay and José Bautista usually come to mind. As for those that were Blue Jays but were legends predominantly with other MLB team during their careers, names such as Paul Molitor, Dave Winfield, the late Rickey Henderson and David Price would come up. In the case for the latter group, their legacies were usually recognized based on their teams with the most time they spent playing with.
