A New York to Scotland flight got all the way across the Atlantic before diverting to Ireland

Delta Flight 208 took off from New York on Thursday evening and was supposed to land at Edinburgh Airport around 9 a.m. local time. However, after a six-hour flight across the Atlantic Ocean, the Boeing 767 then spent about 20 minutes circling just south of the Scottish capital. It then changed course for Ireland, landing in Dublin just after 10 a.m.
