The child's grandmother Pauline, who was babysitting Tadhg alongside her sister, suffered serious burn injuries in the blaze and remains hospitalised. It has been confirmed by gardaí that a man was arrested on Wednesday amid the ongoing investigation into the attack. A Garda spokesperson added: "He is currently detained on suspicion of murder under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in the midlands."
