The U.S. and Canada faced off in the men's and women's hockey finals in the same Olympics twice before the Milan-Cortina Games. Both times Canada took home all the gold. Now the Americans have a chance at a sweep of their own after the men's team routed Slovakia 6-2 on Friday to advance to the gold-medal game Sunday, when they will face - you guessed it -- Canada. The U.S. women have already done their part, beating Canada in overtime in their final Thursday.

That's a wrap for the high school football weekend. From Lincoln's streak-extending victory over San Jose in the Big Bone game to Woodside's ground-game dominance to Campolindo win over Northgate, there were highlights from one side of the Bay to the other. The New York Mets secured a tense one-run victory over the Cincinnati Reds, ending a three-game losing streak, with a final score of 3-2.

The Golden State Valkyries secured their first road win outside California with a dominant 80-61 victory over the Indiana Fever, aided by Veronica Burton's impressive 21 points.

"The Week 9 matchup between the Patriots and Titans didn't have much appeal to anybody outside of the New England and Tennessee areas, but it was a turning point for the Patriots."

There's some confusion about how to proceed because nothing really happened to rule on Kelly never lost the ball or left the field or was held up. In the end, they play it as if it was held up, the Blues put up a kick and the Maroons field it, but make an error early in the set to give the Blues another chance.

Elly De La Cruz, Will Benson and Matt McLain homered, while Nick Martinez pitched seven shutout innings leading the Reds to a dominant 7-1 victory over the White Sox.
