Boxes filled with tchotchkes that visitors exchange for their own trinkets are popping up everywhere. Emerging in the US last autumn (Philadelphia had one of the first using a ready-made electrical junction box, a popular format), they're a new iteration of a phenomenon that started with Little Free Libraries and diversified during the pandemic into myriad neighbourhood installations.

The defeat of Viktor Orbán required not just an ordinary election campaign but the construction of a broad, diverse, and patriotic grassroots social movement, changing politics around the world.

"People are going to come out when they can, at night, whenever the police aren't here, painting their street. They're going to take back their heritage."

We feel there are a lot of people who have been part of the Republican Party in the past but don't feel there is a place for them anymore, or for people who have traditional conservative values, and they don't see MAGA as being the same.
