The body of a 75-year-old man believed to have drowned was recovered from lower Lake Clementine on Sunday morning. The body is believed to belong to a man reported missing earlier in the day.

Over 72 million people nationwide are expected to travel more than 50 miles from June 28 to July 6, an increase of nearly 2 million travelers compared to last year. Around 61.6 million people are expected to travel by car over the holiday weekend, which is a 2.2% increase from last year.

This strong temperature contrast also brings severe weather - this is expected to affect Italy the most, but may also bring scattered storms to middle sections.

The Portland metro area is bracing for some of the coldest temperatures of the season this holiday weekend, with frigid morning lows expected across the region.
