A mother and child were among those killed on Saturday by gunmen who threw a hand grenade into the building in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan-Baluchestan. At least five civilians were killed and 13 injured during the attack on a courthouse. Iranian media reported that three attackers were also killed during the assault. Jaish al-Adl, a Baloch armed group, claimed responsibility for the attack and advised civilians to evacuate the area for safety.
