Opening Monday night's show, Stewart mocked those named in the release as a veritable who's who of who you imagine wanted someone to touch their hoohoo adding: allegedly [Howard] Lutnik, [Steve] Bannon, [Elon] Musk, [Larry] Summers, [Bill] Gates, [Bill] Clinton, [Steve] Tisch, Melania [Trump], the guy who directed Melania [Brett Ratner], Prince Andrew, and Sir Richard Branson. Rounding on the president, he dropped one more name: And, of course, the star of our show, Donald Josephine Trump,

After Paramount announced it was canceling Stephen Colbert's show last summer, his friend Jon Stewart responded with an "f-bomb-filled monologue" aimed at the company and the Trump administration. Stewart, like many others, believed Paramount pulled the plug on Colbert, a frequent Trump critic, for political reasons. So it would be weird for Stewart, who is also a committed Trump critic, to stay on with Paramount after that. Right?

Jon Stewart will be sticking around The Daily Show on Comedy Central through 2026, despite speculation his time might be limited after a Trump-friendly corporate owner merged with the network's parent company. In a statement, Comedy Central's head Ari Pearce said Stewart's return is an ongoing commitment to the incisive comedy and sharp commentary that define The Daily Show.' The renewal is a win for audiences, for Comedy Central and for all our programming partners. We're proud to support Jon and the extraordinary news team.

Most of you probably know of Jon Stewart's character Kevin Gerrity's moment of clarity at the end of the movie where he suddenly recalls his evening of sexual escapades that led to conceiving a child: "6 years ago ...
