Boston Bruins

1 day agoThe Bruins' second line isn't just a pleasant surprise. They've been one of the NHL's best this year.
The Bruins' forward trio of Arvidsson, Zacha, and Mittelstadt has been a key scoring force this season.
"It's not going to be a day-to-day thing," Sturm said of Lindholm's status. "Hopefully it's not too long, but he's definitely going to be out for a little bit. We'll have to do more testing when we're back in Boston so we can go from there."
Mittelstadt had been on the shelf with a knee injury since November 6 and didn't even make the just-completed tip to to the West Coast and Long Island. But with both David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha out with unspecified maladies, desperate times called for a desperate measure. And so, without the benefit of a team practice (something that is usually imperative for a player out that long), Mittelstadt was pressed back into action.
