We're really excited for the weekend. A home game, with three games to go, but it's one at a time. They're [Minnesota] a team we know well. They're playing for something big in positioning. We're excited that this time of year, we're in a good spot to make the playoffs. Things are in our control or at least on our terms. We're ready to wrap it up in front of our own fans.
I'm pleased about that. It's not easy to do. "I think you see that historically, having a team make the playoffs year after year, it's challenging for different reasons. "I'm happy about the consistency, but it's also the expectation. This is where we want to be, this is where we expect to be and it's nice to be knowing we're in the playoffs again and clinched that spot. Now it's a matter of how high of a seed are we going to get.
"I'm hungry for goals," "The team also help me a lot and I love football so much. I'm very happy to get the [match] ball. I'm very happy to tie Carlos [record]. Carlos is a legend at LAFC and I appreciate [the opportunity] to tie Carlos. It is too easy to play on the pitch with Sonny. You can see he is an amazing player and off the field he is a good person. Everyone who knows Sonny, knows this."
All the men and women that work for this club are just good people and genuine people, in that they are genuine in their approach to their work and that we are all aware that we are in the same boat. Whether the ship is sailing smoothly or taking on some water, we are in that boat together and all we can do is try to bail water out and help each other.
Damiani headed in from Milan Iloski's centre shortly after the restart, finding the back of the net despite not getting a great deal of purchase on the effort. Tai Baribo almost doubled Union's lead with a point-blank header, while at the other end teenage goalkeeper Andrew Rick, who impressed all game for the visitors, saved well from Evander.
