'Our research shows an interesting trend of human-like names topping the charts, including Jack, Daisy, and Rosie. 'This suggests that Brits are increasingly viewing their pets as family members.' When teachers are asked about names, they often have lists of names they would never choose for their own kids, shaped by years of classroom experiences.

"Vintage baby names are names that were in style amongst past generations and then fell out of style at some point," Colleen Slagen explains.

Smith-Bannister's extensive research through parish records revealed significant trends in girls' names in Tudor England, highlighting royal influence and societal changes over time.

The name Kevin, once cool, has now become a stereotype in Germany, associated with lower socio-economic backgrounds and biases in education, reflecting societal prejudice.
