Young woman who died in Tipperary car crash was renowned athlete and camogie player

The crash happened on the R495 Nenagh to Dromineer Road, near Nenagh, at about 9pm on Tuesday. A section of the road remained closed yesterday. Ms Kennedy was the driver of one of the cars and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was taken to University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
