As most hospices are local charities, including Heart of Kent Hospice, we only receive a small amount of NHS funding and rely heavily on local fundraising.

Each year, the private gardens at the back of 10 Downing Street are opened to the public for a tour, and the ballot for tickets has opened today.

The annual Open Gardens weekend offers a unique opportunity to explore over 100 private gardens across London, showcasing much of the city's hidden green spaces.
