Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of the major incident after a Bus &Eacuteireann vehicle crashed on the pedestrianised North Earl Street. Ambulances and units from Dublin Fire Brigade are at the scene. A tent has been erected around the crash site, and a garda cordon has been put in place. The front window of the bus has been smashed. Debris can be seen strewn across the pedestrianised street as firefighters and paramedics put up fencing around the site.

Starting May 18, the north outer roadway of the Queensboro Bridge will be used exclusively for cyclists, and the south outer roadway will become a dedicated space for pedestrians.
