According to a notice from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recall includes about 1,290,000 units in the United States and another approximately 104,195 units in Canada. In the U.S., the ovens were sold nationwide in stores such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Costco, and Walmart. The products were sold from August 2015 to July 2025 for $140 to $250. They were also available online through Amazon.com and Overstock.com during this time.

Sunbeam Products is recalling more than a million of its Oster French door-style countertop ovens because the doors can swing shut unexpectedly, posing a burn hazard to users. The recall, announced Sept. 25, includes 1,290,000 ovens sold over the past decade at retail stores in the United States. Sunbeam said it has received 95 reports so far of the spring-loaded doors unexpectedly closing and burning users. Two users reported second-degree burns, the company said.

Aldi shoppers should check their kitchens, because about 21,690 Ambiano Cotton Candy Makers have just been recalled for fire risk. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the machines' heating elements can ignite sugar if used without the included receptacle. The recall covers both red and teal models with the number 836098 on the bottom of the unit. The machines were sold nationwide at Aldi between August 2024 and September 2024 for about $15.

In a notice on the company's website Tuesday, Costco said the recall affects Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene purchased between April 25 and August 26. The affected bottles were sold in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Costco said unopened bottles can shatter even when they're not being handled or in use.

Costco has announced a recall of a popular Dubai chocolate brand, Rolling Pin Dubai Style Chocolate, due to mislabeling. The product contains an allergen that was not properly declared on its nutrition label or packaging. In a letter to its members, Costco stated, "The allergen statement inadvertently listed gluten as the allergen, rather than wheat. We assess the health risk to be minimal as gluten is listed on the allergen statement and gluten is found in wheat." Costco announced the recall on the Recalls & Products Notices page on its website and through letters sent to Costco members who may have purchased the product.

Founded in 1999, Dexcom has become a leading developer of the continuous glucose monitor. For people with diabetes, wearing a glucose monitor eliminates the need for fingerstick tests and allows their blood sugar levels to be tracked around the clock. When a patient's blood sugar shifts dangerously, Dexcom will alert them. Initially, the company's products primarily served people with Type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease that typically develops in adolescence. Over time, its research expanded to include those with Type 2 diabetes as well.

Today bicycle accessory brand Knog has issued a product recall on a number of its front bike lights, stating that a number of early batches "were manufactured with batteries that could potentially degrade over time, cause malfunction, and in some cases, pose a fire hazard." The front lights affected are the Blinder 900, Blinder 1300, Blinder 80 StVZO, and the Blinder 120 StVZO. Affected batches can be identified by cross-referencing the batch code on the underside of the light with the affected codes listed on the Knog website.

Two major high street chains, Next and Matalan, have recalled items from their Miss Summer clothing range due to a risk of strangulation from decorative cords that exceed permissible lengths.

Werner is recalling 122,250 Multi-Max Pro ladders due to a failing locking mechanism that poses a fall risk, with reports of 18 falls and 14 injuries.
