When John Fassel left to take the job with the Tennessee Titans, many thought it might be an easy fix, wrong. With how brutal the Cowboys special teams play has been this year, Brian Schottenheimer said today on 103 The Fan that personnel changes may be on the way. The current special teams coordinator is Nick Sorensen.

Lane dropped deep on kickoffs along with Noah Igbinoghene later, while Allen handled a couple of punts. In total, he returned four kickoffs and punts and caught a few fair catches. The other return hopefuls each got one opportunity. Nothing definitive happened in the return game. No big plays. No fumbles. There was no seismic shift that fans were hoping for.
