Gordon returns for Scotland World Cup qualifiers

Craig Gordon has returned to the Scotland squad for the home World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Belarus. The 42-year-old goalkeeper has not played since early May and is yet to feature in a Hearts squad this season as he returns to full fitness after a neck injury. Capped 81 times, Gordon replaces club-mate Zander Clark, with Derby County full-back Max Johnston and Blackburn Rovers central defender Dominic Hyam also dropping out.
