The OnePlus Nord 6 is coming soon, and according to multiple recent rumors, it might be a rebranded and/or slightly tweaked version of the OnePlus Turbo 6, which launched in China earlier this month. Now the Nord 6 has seemingly run Geekbench, and as always this means there's a listing for it in the benchmark's online database. This reveals the model number CPH2795, and the fact that the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC - just like the Turbo 6.
OnePlus is launching the Turbo 6 on January 8, and ahead of that it's already revealed the phone's design, its 9,000 mAh battery capacity, and its slim 1.7mm camera island. Now, the brand has given us some live images of the phone to look at. They showcase it in two colorways: one that machine translates from Chinese as Chasing Light Silver (above), the other apparently called Wilderness Green (below).
As per the teasers, the OnePlus Turbo 6 will feature a triple rear camera setup and will be available in Chasing Light Silver, Lone Black, and Wilderness Green color options. It will be sold in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB variants. It will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC and offer a display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The phone will also pack a 9,000mAh battery and offer an IP69 rating.
Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset in April, and it's been used in seven smartphones so far as an upper-midrange option. A new rumor from China today claims Qualcomm will diversify its SoC range even more, as it's getting ready to offer a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 "Pro" or "Plus" version. While the source of the leak doesn't say it, we assume this means a higher bin of the chip, most likely with some overclocked cores.
