A man was arrested carrying 15 poached red abalone for alleged intent to sell, violating California's 2018 ban on abalone harvest.

After receiving 757,109 votes, readers named the Lodge at Bodega Bay the best hotel in the world - beating out contenders in Morocco, Istanbul and New York.
