The Ukrainian international has emerged as a potential target after the Magpies encountered difficulties in negotiations for both Jorgen Strand Larsen of Wolves and Yoane Wissa of Brentford. According to journalist Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, intermediaries are now working to establish a pathway that could see Dovbyk make the switch to St James' Park before the transfer window closes.
