Today was supposed to have been the premiere date of the new Apple TV+ series The Savant, starring Jessica Chastain as an undercover investigator who infiltrates domestic hate groups. Instead, Apple has postponed the show's release indefinitely, offered little explanation, compelled Chastain to speak out against the decision, and pleased exactly zero people except maybe one very online guy who has a 24-karat gold plaque from Tim Cook sitting on his gilded Oval Office mantel.
