Wedgwood has announced plans to suspend production at their Staffordshire factory for up to 90 days at the end of the month. The move will see 70 workers place on temporary leave from 29 September as a "short term measure" as there is lower demand in of their "key markets." Fiskars group said the factory in Barlaston will also suspend tours offered which is part of the World of Wedgwood tourist destination until January 2026.
