Major disruption on the Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Lioness lines will impact travel in west, central and east London, while service changes on Sunday March 1 will hit Elizabeth line, DLR and various Overground services.

I'm a New Yorker, so my summer weekends are usually chock full of trying the latest restaurants, hitting the beach, and taking strolls in the park right within my own vibrant city. However, this summer I decided to venture a little further from home and explore a beachside escape a few hours away: Atlantic City, New Jersey. I've been to Atlantic City just once before, to attend a concert at Ocean Casino Resort in Ovation Hall.

From 2am to 6.10am on Saturday mornings, the Central line won't be running between Leytonstone and Loughton / Woodford (via Hainault). Then, from 6.10am and all day Saturday and Sunday, there'll be no service between Leytonstone and Loughton or between Newbury Park and Woodford (via Hainault). There will be replacement buses around to get you to where you need to be instead.

The weekend closures are part of essential maintenance work conducted by Transport for London, affecting multiple lines including the London Underground and Overground.
