I still remember sitting in that Melbourne warehouse, surrounded by boxes of TVs, wondering how the hell I'd ended up there. Four years of psychology education, and here I was, moving electronics from one shelf to another. Every muscle ached, my pride was thoroughly bruised, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd somehow failed at life. But looking back now? That miserable job was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground.

The company was a little over 1,000 people. One year later, it is over 3,000 and I was in the top 30% by tenure.
