1 week agoWeekly poll: would you buy the Sony Xperia 10 VII?
Sony Xperia 10 VII: 6.1" 19.5:9 120Hz display, improved 50MP main camera, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 8/128GB, €450/£400, extended updates.
Sony officially unveiled the Xperia 10 VII, its latest mid-range smartphone. It comes with a redesigned rear camera module and a number of improvements compared to its predecessor. The Sony Xperia 10 VII features upgraded rear cameras that are now placed horizontally inside a pill-shaped module, which looks very Pixel-like. The phone has a 50 MP Sony Exmor RS main sensor and a 13 MP ultrawide unit. For selfies, the device comes with an 8 MP camera.
To say that Sony is conservative about changing the design of its smartphones would be a laughable understatement - for anyone but the biggest Sony fans it's almost impossible to tell different generations apart. This, however, may change for its next mid-ranger, the Xperia 10 VII. According to a case maker on Amazon, Sony will be switching things up this time, with a different arrangement of its camera sensors compared to its predecessor which launched last year.
