"AI Mode - our most powerful AI search - is coming to the Chrome address bar. This means you can use AI Mode to ask complex, multi-part questions right from the same place you already search and browse the web from Chrome. And you can quickly ask follow-up questions and explore more content from across the web. This update will be rolling out later this month in English in the U.S. and expanding to more countries and languages in the weeks ahead."
"You can also ask questions about the entire page you're on - right from the Chrome address bar. Chrome can suggest relevant questions based on the context of the page to help you kickstart your search. You'll get a helpful AI Overview on the right-hand side of the page, where you can ask follow-up questions with AI Mode - getting helpful information without ever leaving your current page. This makes accessing the information you want - when you want"
Google will add AI Mode to the Chrome address bar (Omnibox) later this month in English in the U.S., with broader rollout to more countries and languages in the following weeks. AI Mode accepts longer, complex, multi-part queries and returns AI-generated responses that support easy follow-up questions to dive deeper into web content. The Omnibox will surface contextually relevant suggestion prompts based on the page being viewed, such as product warranty queries while shopping. Users can ask questions about the entire page directly from the address bar and receive an AI Overview on the right-hand side, enabling follow-ups without leaving the page.
