We're starting to test a new way to seamlessly go deeper in AI Mode directly from the Search results page on mobile, globally. This brings us closer to our vision for Search: just ask whatever's on your mind - no matter how long or complex - and find exactly what you need. You shouldn't have to think about where or how to ask your question.
Google uploaded its Thanksgiving Doodle to the Google Search home page, google.com. It is a typical and expected cute Google Doodle - more on that later. But when you click on it, you are not taken to the Google search results page, instead you are taken directly into AI Mode. And the AI Mode results don't say anything about the Doodle itself.
We told you that inside the app's settings you can opt to use Google's AI Mode for all general inquiries. And if you flip that switch, anything you type into the app that isn't a search for some manner of local or Drive-connected data will end up in an interactive chatbot-style question-and-answer session instead of in a more traditional web-style search result listing.
AI Mode - our most powerful AI search - is coming to the Chrome address bar. This means you can use AI Mode to ask complex, multi-part questions right from the same place you already search and browse the web from Chrome. And you can quickly ask follow-up questions and explore more content from across the web. This update will be rolling out later this month in English in the U.S. and expanding to more countries and languages in the weeks ahead.
