ZF presented advanced bus and coach technologies emphasizing efficiency, safety, decarbonization, automation, intelligent chassis, and digital solutions to reduce Total Cost of Ownership and boost operational performance. The bus business grew 30 percent over three years and has more than one billion euros in orders in the pipeline. The Electrified Powertrain Technology division will remain in the group under a restructuring plan that includes a 7% reduction in working hours, measures to achieve over €500 million in savings by 2027, and about 7,600 job reductions by 2030. Development will focus on TherMaS thermal management and the 8HP evo plug-in hybrid transmission while programs for on-board chargers and DC converters will be discontinued. Support measures include voluntary programs, training, and transfers, and new-generation ZF axles were showcased.
